BlogNetNews – DelMarVa

Currently I have the privelege of serving as the editor of BlogNetNews – Delmarva. All state editions of BNN (BNN-Delaware, BNN-Maryland, BNN-Virginia, etc.) are for political blogs. However, the city / regional editions (such as BNN-Delmarva) are open to blogs covering almost any subject.

If you publish a blog from (or about) the DelMarVa Peninsula and would like it to be included in the BNN-Delmarva feed, you have two options:

  1. Fill out a the Submission Request Form for BNN – Delmarva
  2. Email me at delmarvadealings@gmail.com

If you send an email, please include the following information:

  1. Your Name
  2. Name of your blog
  3. Preferred email address
  4. URL – Blog
  5. URL – Feed (if you don’t know it, I’ll try to get it for you)
  6. If Political Blog – Conservative, Liberal, etc.

Don’t worry, we don’t discriminate by philosophy. BNN publishes additional feeds broken out this way. If you you want to drive more traffic to your site, this is a great way of doing it. If you don’t tell us, it won’t matter. We just won’t list your site as conservative, liberal, etc. You will still be listed on the primary BNN-Delmarva feed (assuming you meet our inclusion criteria).

Criteria for Inclusion on BNN-Delmarva

We’re pretty open here. As noted above, BNN-Delmarva is open to blogs covering just about any subject (or group of subjects). While politics seems to be the subject of choice for a majority of the authors who are part of BNN – Delmarva, we also have writers who discuss literature, art, religion, and many other subjects.

No porn. No obscenity (like Justice Potter Stewart, I know it when I see it). Let’s keep the bad language to a reasonable level. It’s not my job to be a censor, but we need to consider our fellows, and the gracious advertisers who make BNN possible.

Sites where the primary purpose is obviously to level personal attacks on individuals or groups of individuals won’t be included. Valid criticism of policies and persons is welcome. However, attack without argument, invective without evidence; they simply have no place here.

We defend the right of individuals to say what they will (within the bounds afforded us by law). This does not necessarily translate into a right to be included on the BNN-Delmarva feed.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at delmarvadealings@gmail.com

Thanks,
