He should be a good choice. The governor could have elevated a Superior court judge who also practiced Corporate law before becoming a judge so I don't think the case could be made that one paper the most qualified choice was made nor was the boldest choice made. There is nothing wrong with the choice. It shows that the governor is not in the mood to defend records right now.
