Sounds Almost Like Salisbury
Before the hate mail starts, let me start off by stating that I am not comparing Williamsburg to Salisbury, MD. It’s just that I came across today’s piece in the Daily Press about problems with Billy Mary students living in single family neighborhoods in Williamsburg and I simply couldn’t help myself.
I don’t want to minimize the concerns of Williamsburg residents, but the DP is right. Take a field trip to Morgantown, WV. Then swing around to Salisbury, MD on a typical Saturday night. I have a sneaking suspicion that you would be counting your blessings.
Ditto for the folks in Salisbury. Drive over to Morgantown and spend a Saturday night there during football season (and when it’s a home game). Most of the horror tales about SU will pale in comparison. You might even start thinking of SU students as angels.
