Slumlords Endorse Comgys for Mayor, Boda and Shields for Council

Salisbury’s leading slumlord, Richard Insley, has prepared his biennial tenant’s letter for distribution by SAPOA.  Support Gary Comegys for Mayor or you will be homeless.  Vote for Muir Boda and Shanie Shields for city council or we’ll raise your rents.  That is the clear implication of a letter prepared by Insley for use by SAPOA’s membership.

Why should the city’s renters have safe, affordable housing when it’s cheaper to buy a city government?  On a trip to northeast Baltimore County last week I noticed that comparable units were running $100 – $200 per month cheaper than the advertised rates here in Salisbury.  Multiply that by the number of rental units in Salisbury and the math is pretty simple.
