The Principled Campaign of Frank Kratovil

Congressional candidate Frank Kratovil, like most liberals, whines like a two year old every time his record is challenged.  Yet, it is he and supporters who are reaching for new lows in First District politics.

First, area Democrats rampaged through the Salisbury area defacing Andy Harris and McCain/Palin signs.  Now the Kratovil campaign is using their phone bank operation to spread false information about voting hours to Republican voters.

Imagine if Republican volunteers did what Frank Kratovil is doing – calling voters and telling supporters of your opponent that the polls are open until 9PM?  We’d have every left wing group from the NAACP to the ACLU screaming for the FBI!  There would be cries of “Voter Intimidation”.  We would have a Congressional hearing all schedule for the first week of January.

Yet, this behavior is perfectly acceptable when a liberal like Frank Kratovil does it.  Why not?  After all, it’s for the children.

As a Kratovil phone banker, I can assure you that no one called Harris supporters to tell them about times to vote. That’s silly. I’d be interested to know where you got that info, because it was not my experience at all! As for defacing signs, there was plenty of that going around from both sides, neither of which is acceptable. Unfortunately, though, you can never prevent a bunch of bad apples from rolling around and ruining it for the rest.
