Markell Wins – Delaware Democrat Machine Humiliated

Joe Biden, Ruth Ann Minner, and the other good ole boys got their hat handed to them in last night’s Delaware Democrat primary.  State Treasurer Jack Markell defeated Lt. Gov. John Carney by over 1,700 votes.

Markell fought a hard race against the state Democrat machine as well as their money.  Unfortunately for Delawareans, Markell is the more liberal of the two Dems (and that’s saying something).

In the waning days of the campaign Markell was running a radio ad that stated that he wanted to end student testing.  Like all good liberals, Markell wants to end any accountability in public education while throwing money on a problem that can’t be solved by money.

Unless the GOP nominee – retired judge Bill Lee – pulls a rabbit out of his hat, Delaware could soon more closely resemble a New England state than any of its neighbors.
