Obama the Community Organizer

Other than the fact that he is over 35 and a natural-born US citizen, what exactly is it that qualifies Barack Obama to be President? You often hear him speak of his time as a “community organizer”. What is a “community organizer” and how does it help qualify Barack Hussein Obama to be President of the United States?

If you agree with the notion that Obama wants to make the United States a socialist country, as I do, then his time as a “community organizer” speaks volumes as to his qualifications and his agenda. Obama was a paid political agitator who accomplished little, but honed his rhetoric and organizational skills.

Trained by Gerald Kellman, a disciple of Saul “The Red” Alinsky, Obama learned the skills necessary to organize disparate groups. Using the skills taught by Alinsky in his book, Rules for Radicals, Obama became an “abrasive agent for change”.  Obama’s goal wasn’t to feed the poor, it was about political power in the infamous, bare knuckles Chicago style.

If you thought that “the politics of change” was original, you would be mistaken. If you examine Obama’s rhetoric from the 1980’s and compare it to his present shtick, you need only substitute Reagan for Bush and the standard stump speech hasn’t changed very much in over 20 years.

The “politics of change” is merely telling people what they think they want to hear while pushing a socialist agenda. It would be wrong to call it “all style and no substance”. More accurately it should be called a hidden agenda packaged with a lot of style.

Trying to understand Obama’s political roots makes one believe that he is far better suited to be a Chicago alderman than President of the greatest nation on earth.
