The Mortgage Slush Fund Gets Bigger

As details of the $4 Billion slush fund pushed through the House by Nancy Pelosi become public, our collective stomachs should churn. Built in to this growing carbuncle are slop for an ever-growing group of pigs at the tax-funded trough.

Left-wing groups like Acorn and LaRaza will be beneficiaries of supposed spending on “affordable housing”. Well-connected developers will rake in plenty of cash as well.

With groups like Acorn and LaRaza involved, this is a true liberal jackpot. Use taxpayer dollars to register illegal aliens to vote, then provide them with cheap housing to insure their allegiance to the Democrat party.

It almost makes you understand why GOP pols like Tom DeLay, Roy Blunt, and John Boehner thought that the GOP could abandon its principles and buy their way to a permanent majority – with our money.
