Carney Getting Money Under the Table?

DelawarePolitics.net reports that the Delaware Democrat party is funneling party money to help Lt. Gov. John Carney in his primary fight with Delaware Treasurer Jack Markell. While David Anderson may applaud (hopefully tongue in cheek) the use of party money in an internecine battle, is this really in the best interest of Delawareans?
How would he feel if the Delaware GOP was throwing money at Mike Protack? Personally, I can’t believe that the Dem’s state central committee would put up with this foolishness.
