The Democrats’ $4 Billion Slush Fund
The Heritage Foundation outlines a $4 Billion slush fund that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts want included in any proposed bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. This is just what we need - more layers of government to solve a problem caused by government.
The proposed fund is supposedly so that local governments can purchase foreclosed properties. Think about this for a moment. When was the last time that you visited government-owned housing that you wanted to live in.
What will be the net result? Block-busting in reverse! This isn’t a racial issue. We won’t be witnessing white flight, but the flight of all those who work hard and want to live in clean, safe neighborhoods.
