Teachers’ Union Attacks Delaware Charter Schools

It would be unfair to question the motivations of an individual teacher, but there appears to be no question as to where the Delaware State Education Association (DSEA) is coming from – destroy charter schools to put more money in the pockets of their members AND in the union’s coffers. The News-Journal outlines the DSEA strategy to tear down charter schools in the First State.
It seems that Delaware’s largest public employee union has hired a DC consulting firm to develop a strategy to stop the growth of charter schools in Delaware and ultimately get the money back where it belongs – in the monopolistic hands of school district bureaucrats. It’s for the children, don’t you know.
