Daily Times Editor Has Bad Night
Admittedly a minor point, but a government budget is, by definition, a fiscal matter. Therefore I was surprised to read the following headline in Monday’s Daily Times:
Public Meeting Held at School on Fiscal Budget
Webster’s defines fiscal (adjective) as:
1: of or relating to taxation, public revenues, or public debt
2: of or relating to financial matters
Sphere: Related Content2: of or relating to financial matters
Certainly not an earth shattering concern, but you never know what gets your goat on a Monday.
