O’Malley’s One Maryland
Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley appears to have turned the Department of Business and Economic Development upside down. O’Malley Watch has excellent analysis of issue.
However, I have to disagree with O’Malley Watch that focusing all of their effort on the Baltimore / DC corridor is a bad thing. Given O’Malley’s apparent desire to tax businesses and residents into oblivion AND to make Maryland an even less business-friendly state than it was during the Glendenning years this would appear to be an efficient move.
What business would want to move Maryland UNLESS they were a federal or state government contractor?
