Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine pledged not to raise taxes to fund his myriad transportation schemes. Of course, that was back in 2005.

I didn’t get to read the post about Frank Kratovil daring to raise funds for his campaign. Will it be making a comeback in the future? I am looking forward to learning how hypocrisy plays into this one. While Frank raises over 90% of his individual contributions from within the State of Maryland, Andy panders to the Club for Growth, whose purse strings will probably tighten up now that the race is not a sure thing. The Club doesn’t want to back another loser.

I never claimed that Kratovil was a hypocrite for raising money. He’s a hypocrite for claiming to run as a “conservative Democrat” while tying himself with one of the most radical lefties on the Shore.
