A Call for Transparent Government in the First State
Delaware Sen. Steven H. Amick (R-10) has introduced legislation to end the “desk drawer veto” in the Delaware Senate. The corrupt practice permits a committee chair to unilaterally kill a piece of legislation without a committee hearing or any other public discussion.
