O’Malley’s PSC Raises Rates Again

Harken back to 2006. Candidate Martin O’Malley told Maryland voters that the pending BGE rate hikes were all Bob Ehrlich’s fault and he would take care of it if elected Governor. Of course he couldn’t accomplish that, but he managed to get the Maryland Public Service Commission reconstituted using that particular straw man.
Not only has the O’Malley PSC allowed rates to continue their upward spiral, now they have approved another rate hike for … compact fluorescent bulbs.
