O’Malley to Host Budget Forum In Salisbury
Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley is hosting a forum on his proposed budget (translation - all of his proposed tax increases) in Salisbury next week. The details are as follows:
Wednesday, October 10th
1:00 PM
The Great Hall - Holloway Hall
Salisbury University
I don’t know whether this is by invitation only or open to the general public. My invite called for an RSVP by Monday, October 8. I encourage anyone interested in going to either call or email Ashley Valis, an assistant to the Governor:
(410) 260-3886
avalis@gov.state.md.us
Hopefully we’ll have some attendees who will ask tough question about the need to increase taxes while the Governor refuses to control the growth of state spending.

I’ll bet he gets Barrie Tilghman — who really knows how to raise taxes — to stand with him just like that show they put on at the VFW a few months ago who he said that more taxes were coming.
So if it is open to the general public, I hope someone who is renting asks why he wants to give a break to homeowners and the shaft to renters?
Well, we know how the college KIDS feel…Dunno about most seniors, but all I talk to are all for mom. Hope they’re happy now. Please keep us all informed as you usually do.
thanx, for all you do!

What’s this 1:00 crap? That just eliminates all of the working people so that the only people who can attend are college students and senior citizens.
I might be able to make it but I’m going to count on you to give the rundown on O’Malley’s snake oil salesmanship if I can’t.
