The Dynamic Duo?

Former Senator Fred Thompson is expected to announce his candidacy for the Presidency on September 4th. According to Robert Novak, former Speaker Newt Gingrich is advising Thompson.

Gingrich, probably the conservative movement’s (definitely the GOP’s) best idea man, could be the missing link to catapulting Thompson heads above close competitors Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney.
