“We Care” Welcome Troops
The American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and “We Care About Wicomico County” have joined together to welcome our returning servicemen and women at the Wicomico Airport.
If you are a family member whose loved one is returning home to Wicomico County and the Eastern Shore through the Wicomico Airport, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and “We Care About Wicomico County” organizations would like to personally welcome them as they arrive at the Airport.
Please contact 410-742-7011 or 410-603-7886 to let them know the arrival date and time so that representatives from these organizations can be on hand to welcome and thank them for their service.
This is a free service and one which these groups look forward to providing in appreciation of your loved ones’ service to our country.

Very cool! The Maryland GOP tries to arrange this sort of welcome when troops arrive at BWI; generally this turns out to be a whole flight full rather than individuals.
But the idea is still good and if you have the time it’s something that should be taken advantage of. Support our troops and their mission.
