I’m Sure You’ve Seen This But ….

You’ve probably already seen this on “Salisbury News“, but I had to post it up on YouTube. I know that there are lot of “Joey’s” out there but the whole world deserves to see these videos.

This video is from the first Salisbury Career Firefighters forum held February 20, 2007 at the Knights of Columbus hall in Salisbury. Incumbent councilman Gary Comegys told all assembled that public safety protection is one of those perks of paying Salisbury taxes.Since then we’ve had primary and general elections, Gary was re-elected and the new city council has passed a budget. The result? Raises for cops, because they wouldn’t take a stand in the election. More for the average street cleaner than for our paramedics, because the firefighters did take a stand. No plan to bring either cops or firefighters to salary parity.
