Pollitt advocated a “climate of thrift and economy” with incentives for department heads to save money." So, supposedly, Rick has done this with the county's budget - but whether that's true or not is a question that should be asked, and certainly on the table next year. The saving, if both positions are terminated, will approach or exceed $100,000 pwe year, and that will pay for a lot of new textbooks and PCs that are badly needed for the school system.
