Don’t believe me. We knew that the official Barrieland ticket was - Comegys, Atkins, Ewalt. That should provide adequate evidence that the slumlords are supporting Gary and his buddies. Ride by 315 Locust Terrace (just off Waverly Drive) and see who has a big banner out front. Also check out the yard signs in front of 320 Locust Terrace, 708 E. College Ave., 526 W. College Ave., 733 Camden Ave., 227 South Blvd. and 411 South Blvd.
What do these properties have in common? They are all owned by East Coast R&R, LLC. Who owns this little entity? Well, we know that the registered agent is T. J. Maloney. The mailing address on the land records list’s T. J.’s home address. When you look up the organization documents for East Coast R & R the address given is 611 Manor Drive, where T. J. and his family lived when the company was founded. Of course we’ll probably never know who is partners are.
For those of you who do not know T. J. Maloney, he is a local attorney, local slumlord, lawyer to slumlords (e.g. Doug Church) and either current or past president of SAPOA (the Salisbury Slumlords Association). Was there ever any doubt as to who would be supporting the official Barrie Tilghman ticket?
If you are concerned abut crime, if you are concerned about neighborhoods, if you are concerned about the city’s crumbling housing stock then you know who NOT to vote for: Comegys, Atkins and Ewalt.

One of his partners is Brain LeCompte, of Yard designs. Comegys and company signs are also in the yards of Wilson Davis property who recently benefited from many variances of the 4-3 to 4-4 by Richard Insley long after the original deadline. Comegys signs also surround the building housing GNI Properties, another major slumlord. Most certainly you will see support for Comegys form the local real estate companies that market single family homes to college parents as well. How can anyone not make the connection between the Realtors, banks and slumlords? How can anyone not know that if the city audit was favorable for the mayor and Comegys it would be front page news? This is a make or break election for the city residents, any hope of preserving any quality of family living within the city will rely on the replacement Comegys and the mayor.
Comegys must be unseated at this primary tomorrow–we all know who his political base is now. We absolutely cannot exist with Comegys still in with the backing of all these slumlord guys. Barrie and Comegys are joined at the hip–defeat him and put her back in her cage. It’s the only way for this City to survive. You can see on the forum broadcasts that Comegys does not have an independent thought in his head–he was reading just what it is probable the Mayor wrote for him to say.
It’s 2003 all over again — Ewalt and Atkins have replaced the two turn-tails (Dunn & Cathcart) as Barrie’s “Dream Team II” — and SAPOA is pushing her puppets once again.
More reason to vote for Terry Cohen, Tim Spies and Louise Smith (and none other!).
