Clarence Thomas, every lefty’s favorite conservative whipping boy, is the subject of a great post by Paul Smith, Jr. over at the DCBA site. The post is based on an insightful article from OpinionJournal.com.
The conventional, and greatly mistaken, wisdom is that Mr. Justice Thomas is unqualified to sit on the court and only serves as Antonin Scalia’s lackey. Nothing could be farther from the truth. While Scalia continues to be my personal favorite on the court, Thomas is probably the truest Reaganite sitting on the federal bench today.
