Gannett’s Hypocrisy

Crabbin’ is none too pleased with the tactics of the Tilghman Times. While I have written extensively on the disgraceful bias and lack of truth in multiple articles purporting to cover the Salisbury City Council and area development issues, Mr. Crabb hits the local rag on a new, and relevant, tack.

In all honesty, I don’t have any idea why the Berlin Town Council has decided to go into executive session. I do know that the Salisbury City Council and Mayor seems to go out of its way to keep information from its citizens. Their city attorney hides behind privilege to keep opinions on pending legislation hidden from the public.

If Gannett and its minions in Salisbury want to provide evidence that they are not the worst kind of hypocrites, might we suggest that they demand the minutes of every executive session held by the Salisbury council. Mr. Crabb would still be right however. It is the purview of the Open Meetings Compliance Board to decide if the Berlin Council (or Salisbury’s) has violated the law.

Get off your high horse guys. Just try to do your jobs and quit trying to draw attention away from your masters on the third floor of the GOB.
