Barrie Can’t Blame This on the “Dirty Dozen”

The body of a homeless man was discovered Monday afternoon behind the old Salisbury Mall. This is one more reason citizens have been demanding that the old mall be demolished immediately. Of course we’ll have to wait months due to the recent extension granted by Mayor Tilghman’s hand-picked and illegally constructed Housing Board.

Barrie Tilghman has attempted to blame Linda Kent and her merry band for the lack of action on the city’s demolition order. Of course Barrie never hesitates to accommodate one of her developer buddies. My greatest concern is the unnecessary danger our firefighters will be placed in if they ever have to answer a call at the old mall. Since homeless persons are using the old mall for shelter, firefighters will be forced into a dangerous space by space search.

All of this could be avoided by forcing the owners to comply with the order of face losing their $4+ million investment.
