Coincidence?

The old mall project developers are permitted a 3 month extension to appeal the city’s demolition order; until after the council elections. When a group of voters recently asked the Salisbury Housing Board for an extension to better prepare their case against local slumlord Doug Church they were denied. Coincidence?
At Monday’s meeting of the Salisbury Housing Board local residents, including Councilwoman Debbie Campbell, will be there to request that the board move the demolition order appeal back to January. Since she is so disappointed, will Mayor Barrie Tilghman be there to back them up? Will other members of the Salisbury City Council?
We hear that Housing Board chairman, and local slumlord, Richard Insley has a vacation planned. Wouldn’t want to interfere with your fun in the sun Richard. If you can’t perform the duties prescribed, why don’t you resign and let a citizen who actually cares about his neighbors take your spot.

Insley should not have taken the position or act as Chair if he wants to enjoy the sun and surf in the warmer climates. And where’s the back-up guy on the Board–does Insley hold all the cards?
Pretty sad indicator if, when Insley wants to catch some rays, the Board is held in suspension until he decides he wants to return home and take up where he left off on the City issues. Such arrogance! But that is exactly what the citizens have come to expect from this present City administration and Boards.
What is the purpose of the meeting on Monday if Insley has all ready approved the extension-I am really confused!
