Salisbury City Councilwoman Debbie Campbell has responded to (just a few) of the slurs slung at her by Mike “Mr. Civility” Dunn and the disgraceful City Editor of the “Tilghman Times”, Joe Carmean. Unfortunately for the the citizens of Salisbury, they will never be given the opportunity to learn both sides of the argument, much less the truth, if they get their “news” via the “Tilghman Times”. Integrity Matters Only Sometimes reports that the “Tilghman Times” will be moving its offices and presses away from Carroll Street to the North End of Salisbury. A new building might be nice for the employees. A new press might help them get the paper out on time. Unfortunately, new editors and a few real reporters will be needed to make it a real newspaper.

Politics continues to amaze us as the giants are toppled.
In 1962 we were told we would not have Dick Nixon to kick around anymore.
Last week we dabbed our eyes as John Kerry’s soliloquy brought tears to his eyes,
Sunday morning brought the universe to a near stand-still as word gradually leaked out, via a front page article in the local paper, that President Dunn would not pursue another term in office. Shocked citizens wondered aloud why such a popular and media savvy servant of the people would relinquish the role which had only added luster to an already star-studded career. Read more

Crabbin’ is none too pleased with the tactics of the Tilghman Times. While I have written extensively on the disgraceful bias and lack of truth in multiple articles purporting to cover the Salisbury City Council and area development issues, Mr. Crabb hits the local rag on a new, and relevant, tack. Maryland Conservatarian has a great post on the recently approved “day laborer center” in Gaithersburg. Perhaps we need one in Wicomico County. Come on, they encourage illegal immigration and depress wages. Isn’t that the American Dream?
As MC so clearly points out, if the argument for such a facility is that these folks are “in demand”, why can’t I have cocaine, heroin and prostitutes? They seem to be in demand too.

The “Tilghman Times” ran a very special piece on Sunday morning. It started on the front page and ran for a full page. For such a special piece, it needed a very special author. The powers that be chose their chief apologist for the Tilghman Administration, city editor Joe Carmean. The subject: Mike Dunn won’t seek re-election because people are mean to him. Read more

The “Tilghman Times” had an atypical week, even for the worst newspaper in the People’s Republic of Maryland. The reporters and editors of the Tilghman administration house organ were in rare form; showing that they will go to any length to promote the agenda of Barrie Tilghamn, Mike Dunn and Gary Comegys.
