Save the GOP
Shaun Kenney posts a quote from Newt Gingrich’s 1978 speech to the College Republicans, but then questions whether or not Newt is part of today’s problem. Sorry Shaun, the answer is clearly no.
Newt Gingrich was, and is, part of the solution. Sure, Newt had a few personal problems but he never allowed the type of rampant spending and blatant pandering that goes on today. We are no longer the majority party because the people we have put in office should have been run out of town on a rail rather than Newt.
