Hypocrisy and Why The Dems Fear George Allen

The 2008 election is over two years away. The Dems must take Sen. George Allen pretty seriously as a candidate. They are already busy branding the Senator as a racist. Why? Actually, it was the Battle Flag for the Army of Northern Virginia… the “Southern Cross Flag”, so called as it features the star field on the Cross of St Andrew, was not used widely outside the Army of Northern Virginia.

Of course, who cares about little old facts like these? Especially when it is Allen’s colleague — former Kleagle Bobby Byrd (D-WV) they should be going after.

Allen has a strange history of inviting controversy, which is playing itself out all over again with his ridiculous “macaca” slur.
