Bright and Early Monday Morning

The Salisbury City Council is having a special meeting on Monday morning at 8:30 AM. The purpose of the meeting is “to confirm the Council appointment of the City Clerk and the mayoral appointments of the City Administrator and Directors.”

Wouldn’t it be a lot easier on everyone to just say that they made a mistake hiring Ms. Oland without an open vote by council. Instead we are forced to put up with this pretense. I wasn’t aware that Brenda Colegrove and John Pick had to be re-confirmed by city council.
