Who Moved the Furniture?

Has anyone noticed that the chairs have been rearranged in the Salisbury Council chambers? Since council meetings aren’t standing room only events, I wonder what the reason could be. Is it possible that certain individuals just want to make the room a little less accessible?

The current seating, which eliminated the center aisle, makes it difficult to get to and out of seats. In the event of an emergency, it would provide a serious impediment to orderly egress, perhaps a dangerous one.
