A Request To Our Fellow Bloggers
We love reading you every day. The problem with the blogoshpere is that there is so much good stuff out there that it’s impossible to read it all.
At present, we are trying to get through between 150 - 200 blogs every day plus news feeds. If that sounds like an exaggeration its not, but we also don’t get through them all every day either.
If you are a blogger there is a way that you can help us and a lot of your other readers. Make sure that your site feed is operating. If you are using WordPress, TypePad, etc. it’s usually automatic. If you are using Blogger, please go to your settings. There is a tab called “Site Feed”. Click the “Site Feed” tab and make sure that “Publish Site Feed” is set to yes. Then save and republish.
It would be helpful to many of your readers to put a link to your site feed on your home page. If not, don’t worry. The Blogger site feed addresses are pretty standard. Here is an example for one of our local favorites, DuvaFiles:
Blog URL: http://duvafiles.blogspot.com
Site Feed: http://duvafiles.blogspot.com/atom.xml
It’s that simple. For those of us that depend on feed readers such as Sage or online aggregators such as Newsgator, it’s a life saver. It also helps us to read more of your great stuff.
