The city of Salisbury has received payment for $137,967.07 from Wicomico County for septage treatment. The next time you hear the Mayor or one of the Rubber Stamp 4 tell you how much money they are going to save you at some point in the future ask them to show you the money.
Debbie Campbell saved the taxpayers of Salisbury this amount in cold, hard cash. She did it by doing her job, not by talking about it.

The ongoing saga known as Dunngate wouldn’t be to fore of the public’s attention if it wasn’t for some hard working people. Thanks to Mr. Duvall and Hadley for their efforts in putting this spectacle in some order and perspective.
The person we probably need to thank most doesn’t even want her name mentioned. This special lady has worked tirelessly to help make Salisbury and the county a better place for us all to live in. One of the reasons that people don’t participate in the public debate is because they believe that their elected representatives don’t listen to them. Has anyone noticed that the chairs have been rearranged in the Salisbury Council chambers? Since council meetings aren’t standing room only events, I wonder what the reason could be. Is it possible that certain individuals just want to make the room a little less accessible?

Among the attendees at last Monday’s Salisbury Council meeting was a group of employees from the Salisbury Zoo. A question has been raised about the presence of these individuals. Does the city pay these people overtime to attend council meetings? If so, how can those of us who attend out of civic interest get on the gravy train?
