Don’t Miss DuvaFiles!
If you missed reading DuvaFiles this morning, don’t. There are two excellent posts this morning. I don’t always agree with the man, but I always read what he has to say.
Mr. Duvall’s lead post, about the possibility of Mike Dunn orchestrating a ticket for County Council is excellent. Do not discount Mikey making a run and winning.
To beat Mike Dunn and any possible slate that he runs you have to field candidates, preferably quality candidates. Mike can be very charming when he wants to be and you can’t count on the electorate being properly informed about his service on the Salisbury Council. In addition, many of the business “elite” would back such a candidacy (he’s already proven to be in their pocket). For some reason this seems to impress a certain percentage of the voting population.
If you don’t want the Greater Salisbury Committee running your local government then quality people need to step up to the plate and run. More on this tomorrow.
Mr. Duvall also makes an excellent point in his post about the old mall project. If Dunn & Co. really had any support for the project they could have at least produced some correspondence. Of course we never suspected that he was being truthful anyway.

If you think Stevie P. ties Sarbanes in knots, imagine what she would do to Dunn if he were on the County Council. It would sure be ugly.
