Affordable Housing In Dorchester?

There are over 7,000 housing units in the pipeline for Dorchester County. The prices will start at $200,000 and go up.
With the median household income at around $31,000 I guess these houses won’t be for current residents. I wonder if the powers that be in Dorchester have given any thought as to where the current population is going to live?
